ktruk Report post Posted 07/20/2005 04:55 PM Hi there, forgive my ignorance, but what is Ring-Back tone and how does it affect VG? Is it anything to do with either: 1. A blind transfer to an ext, which rings, but not answered, so calls the originating ext back after say x minutes? 2. A special PBX service where you ask for a ring-back on an ext that you have called but there is no answer, but if that ext gets used by its owner, after they finish the call they are on, you get a call back to try to contact them again? 3. Some other PBX/Dialogic feature? Please explain and state how VG4Dialogic uses this signal (or not as the case may be!) Thanks - Tim. Share this post Link to post

SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/20/2005 09:35 PM Ringback tone is the signal the calling party hears on the line when the destination number/extension is ringing. Share this post Link to post
