ctitech Report post Posted 08/11/2005 12:56 PM To use VG with an IP PBX such Innovaphone (www.innovaphone.de) where the PBX uses a IP to analog or ISDN adapter is what I can understand no problem. The request I got if we can interface direct over IP i.e H323 (or any other protocol). If anyone tried that solution I would appreciate if I can get info about it. Thanks in advanced Share this post Link to post
ctitech Report post Posted 08/12/2005 11:45 AM Innovaphone supports TAPI. Would it be possible to use TAPI over IP ? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 08/13/2005 06:04 AM If Innovaphone provides TAPI and Wave drivers then you could use VoiceGuide directly with those drivers. We're not familiar with that product so we're not sure if it will work or not. Share this post Link to post
ctitech Report post Posted 08/15/2005 01:11 PM Thanks for the answer. I now have more information from the PBXsupplier. If we are going to use the system also as a voicemailsystem we need to know who was originally called (called number). The PBX can deliver that information in the H323 protocol. Below is the answer I got from the PBXsupport: The divertingLegInformation2 usually carries the number of the redirecting endpoint, the number that was originally called (in case of multiple diversions),... . In addition will the divertingLegInforamtion2 indicate through its bare presence, that the call is a diverted call. Summary: Your IVR system should support the evaluation of the divertingLegInformation2. Does Voiceguide support what they ask for ? Best Regards Roger Share this post Link to post
ctitech Report post Posted 08/15/2005 08:39 PM Are there any plans to implement H323 for use with VG ? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 08/15/2005 09:46 PM H323 support is not available at this time. At this stage there is no firm date for it's release. Share this post Link to post
