Guest Ryan Report post Posted 08/17/2005 03:53 AM Good evening, I am having some trouble installing a D4PCI Dialogic card in a Windows 2003 Server. I am using Intel Service Realese 6.0 PCI. I installed the card and rebooted. Then, I installed the Intel software. However, Server 2003 detects the board as an "Other PCI Bridge Device". When searching for drivers, it says none are found. I have even tried pointing directly to the C:\Program Files\Dialogic\Drivers directory, but still no luck. I am using a Dell Dimension 1400 server with the latest A11 firmware. Trying to get support from Intel and reseller has been a nightmare. Noone seems to know anything about configuring these cards. Does anyone have insight on this? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 08/17/2005 06:39 AM With System Release 6.0 drivers you will need to use VG for Dialogic - you will then not need to setup the TAPI/Wave drivers. Share this post Link to post
vegas155 Report post Posted 08/17/2005 06:49 AM So, by using VG for Dialogic, I simply cancel the New Harware Found Wizard and it will take care of the rest? I'm new to the dialogic configuration. I was under the assumption that I needed to install the System Release and have the card at least recognized as a D4PCI before installing the product? As it stands now, the Configuration Utility doesn't even recognize that there is a dialogic board installed. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 08/17/2005 07:27 AM As long as Dialogic's Configuration Manager (DCM) is seeing the card and starts it OK then that's all you need. You then just install the VG for Dialogic patch. Do not use the VoiceGuide Configuration Wizard - read the readme.txt file which comes with VG for Dialogic for information on how to configure the system. Share this post Link to post
