ekammeijer Report post Posted 08/26/2005 06:26 PM We´re trying to install a D4PCIU VoiceBoard on a WinXP SP2 PC. Already applied SR5.1.1, Feature Pack 1 for SR5.1.1 and the D4PCIU driver for SR5.1.1 (point of release). The hardware manager is instead recognizing a D41JCT with a yellow question mark. The DCM won´t work ("The procedure entry point RNCM_GetThirdPartyDeviceBusCaps could not be located in the dynamic link library RNCMapi.dll"). Please let me some advice on installing it correctly! Thanks!! Erick Castillo Kammeijer ELVATRON S.A. erick.castillo@elvatron.com Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 08/26/2005 07:53 PM If you install the Feature Pack then you do not need to install the "D4PCIU support add-on". Similarly, if you install D4PCIU support add-on then you do not need to install the Feature Pack. Installation of both would most likely cause conflicts. From: http://www.voiceguide.com/suppRecomHardware.htm : D/4PCIU & D/4PCIUF cards require either the Feature Pack 1 add-on for SR5.1.1 drivers, or the SR5.1.1 SP1 with D4PCIU support add-on. Probably best if you uninstall everything then just install SR5.1.1, SR5.1.1 SP1 and the D4PCIU support add-on. Ultimately Driver level issues should be directed to Intel/Dialogic distributors from where the card was purchased. Share this post Link to post
ktruk Report post Posted 08/28/2005 09:17 AM Isn't the "U" model a low-voltage model, so you must have compatible PCI slots for it? If the PCI is wrong for the card, this may cause this issue? Just a thought ! Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 08/28/2005 08:29 PM The "U" model can work with either 5V or 3.3V PCI buses. "U" stands for Universal. Share this post Link to post
