Locksmith Report post Posted 06/06/2003 09:03 PM We are using version 4.8.6 in demo mode. We are using a Dialogic 4/4pci card. We are only concerned with the software dialing out and playing a message once a person says hello. The box will do nothing else. When the unit dials out the phone will ring and once the person says hello the message is played through the internal computer speaker. You do not hear the message through the phone line. Another quick question we want the dialer to be able to dial monday through Saturday 9 to 9 and only 12 to 9 on sunday. Is here a way to do this? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 06/07/2003 12:21 AM Sounds like the cards Wave drivers were not correctly installed - can you try removing all the wave drives on your system (including any sound card drivers) and then re-installing the wave drivers for your Dialogic card first. (To remove other wave drivers got to Control Panel, double clock on System, select the Device Manager tab and go to Sound/Video/Game Controllers entry - then delete all other wave drivers.) Please also ensure that you are using Dialogic's System Release 5.1 drivers or later, and download v4.9 of VoiceGuide. (where did you obtain v4.8.6 from?) At this stage you can select to dial out only between certain times - but these times apply to all selected days, and you cannot at this stage set different time ranges for individual days... Locksmith Report post Posted 06/07/2003 01:49 PM thanks i figured it out ... did a little research and reinstalled wave drivers and it works fine now... we downloaded 4.8.6 a few months ago but never got around to testing.. i will download 4.9 when i get access to high speed connection.. im on dialup now...
