Guest KenHansen Report post Posted 08/30/2005 12:49 PM Hello, I have a few questions before making a purchase decision (I've worked with the free download demo before, and was impressed): 1) If I get the current model Dialogic 4 port analog card (D/4PCIUF) can I use any ports for outbound FAXes? I'd like to have VoiceGuide available to take incoming calls on all four ports, but be able to send outbound FAXes using one of the ports when needed. 2) Are there any cards or technologies that enable VoIP interfaces? What I would like to do is arrange for 4 lines from a VoIP provider, and connect to a compatible card that VoiceGuide can use. Right now, my plan is to establish an Asterisk softPBX and put a four port analog card in it, then jumper those analog lines into a 4 port Dialogic analog card. (This is being considered for development use, NOT production ;^). 3) Aside from outside databases and voice prompt files, is the entire IVRS application in VoiceGuide contained int he VGS script file? Has anyone worked on creating VGS files from an homegrown application? Thanks in advance for any assistance on these questions. Ken Share this post Link to post

Instead of the telephone handset just attach those to the Dialogic card's ports. 3. The entire script is contained in the .VGS file. Share this post Link to post
