Guest Atif Report post Posted 09/19/2005 10:59 AM Hi, is there any difference between E1/T1 and ISDN boards or both are same thing. thanx in advance Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/19/2005 12:24 PM Same thing. All T1/E1 boards are also ISDN boards. Just about all E1 lines are ISDN lines, and many T1 lines are ISDN lines as well - remaining T1 lines are setup to function in Robbed Bit mode. Share this post Link to post
Guest Atif Report post Posted 09/22/2005 02:06 PM thanx. is E1-CAS and T1-Robbed bit are also ISDN technology.. thanx in advance Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/22/2005 09:41 PM No. CAS and Robbed Bit are not ISDN. T1/E1 boards can function in CAS/Robbed Bit or ISDN modes. CAS/Robbed Bit are old technologies. ISDN has much better signaling indicating end of call etc. Share this post Link to post
