Guest vgfan Report post Posted 09/20/2005 09:29 AM I'm using VG ISDN and just upgraded to 6.0.2224 just recently to solve the fax-bridging issue (thanks for the help on that!) However, today I just realise I am getting tons of entries in Systems Event Log - seems like for every call I am getting 3 new entries: 1. The Telephony service was successfully sent a start control. (User as the administrator) 2. The Telephony service entered the running state. (User as N/A) 3. The Telephony service entered the stopped state. (User as N/A) I'm not 100% sure, but it seems to have introduced only after the upgrade. With so many entries and expecting that the system may be handling thousands of calls (this is a 92 lines system), I would worry this may cause performance problems. Please help advise if this is a real issue and if I can do anything to help resolve it. Thanks, Henry Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/20/2005 10:33 AM VoiceGuide does not put any entries in Systems Event Log. The only other process that could be putting those entries in there are the Dialogic drivers themselves. Are you sure a new entry is made at every call? We have not observed that happening before...
