Guest dean Report post Posted 10/04/2005 09:22 PM Hi I have recently installed the voiceguide for dialogic patch and installed global call 4.2 as per the instructions in the readme file. 1. Once installed if I use the voiceguide program menu instead of the config.xml file to select the default inbound script it appears to change back to the config.xml settings when restarted, Is that meant to happen? 2. When dialling an outbound number it doesnt appear to be recognising when the phone is being answered. The system says "Dialling 029331....." and when the phone is actually answerd it still says its dialling in the voice guide program and no script is played Trace log is pasted below. 072550.94 0 cl Dialer_OutDialQueAdd "0293318320", 0, 0, 0, , , 1, C:\BookingAngel\AcceptAutoCall.wav, C:\BookingAngel\main.vgs, C:\BookingAngel\Callback.vgs, [DB]{BookingAngel}[bID]{3108}[bAttempt]{4670}[Offset](-10}, 0, 0, 0, C:\BookingAngel\NoConnect.vgs, 072550.94 0 dial DialListDB_AddCall '"0293318320"', 0, 0, 0, MoTuWeThFrSaSu, , 1, C:\BookingAngel\AcceptAutoCall.wav, C:\BookingAngel\main.vgs, C:\BookingAngel\Callback.vgs, [DB]{BookingAngel}[bID]{3108}[bAttempt]{4670}[Offset](-10}, 0, 0, 0, C:\BookingAngel\NoConnect.vgs ESCALATION: 072551.25 1 dial [3012,"0293318320",0,0,2359,MoTuWeThFrSaSu,[,,],1,C:\BookingAngel\AcceptAutoCall.wav,C:\BookingAngel\main.vgs,C:\BookingAngel\Callback.vgs,[DB]{BookingAngel}[bID]{3108}[bAttempt]{4670}[Offset](-10},60,0,0,C:\BookingAngel\NoConnect.vgs,none] (search started at 072551.25) 072551.25 1 dial DialOnLine start tel["0293318320"] ann[C:\BookingAngel\AcceptAutoCall.wav] vgs[C:\BookingAngel\main.vgs] am[C:\BookingAngel\Callback.vgs] rv[[DB]{BookingAngel}[bID]{3108}[bAttempt]{4670}[Offset](-10}] 072551.25 0 dial callque update id=3012: NextCallTime=0510050727, RetriesLeft=-1 072551.25 0 dial callque DB update returned (MSAccess) 072551.25 1 rv clear all 072551.25 1 rv add [DB]{BookingAngel} 072551.25 1 rv add [bID]{3108} 072551.25 1 rv add [bAttempt]{4670} 072551.25 1 rv add [Offset]{0} 072551.25 1 dial making call tel["0293318320"] ann[C:\BookingAngel\AcceptAutoCall.wav] vgs[C:\BookingAngel\main.vgs] am[C:\BookingAngel\Callback.vgs] OnHangup[] rv[[DB]{BookingAngel}[bID]{3108}[bAttempt]{4670}[Offset](-10}[OutDial_RetriesLeft]{0}] 072551.27 1 script interpretor: VgMulti v6.0.1049 072551.27 1 state Dialing 0293318320 072551.27 1 dial answering machine detection disabled (see VG.INI file section [VGDialer] entry AM_DetectionMode to enable it) 072551.27 1 timer set 60 EV_TIMEOUT_MAKECALL_NORESPONSE 072551.81 1 tw DialogicEvent 135,TDX_SETHOOK,0,0,0,DX_OFFHOOK,CALL_OUTBOUND, 072551.81 1 event TDX_SETHOOK, code=135, state=5200 072551.81 1 LsWaitAfterDialingOut : 135,TDX_SETHOOK,0,0,0,DX_OFFHOOK,CALL_OUTBOUND, 072554.17 1 tw PlayEnd 1 0 072554.17 1 play end id=0, (current ID) 072554.17 1 event EV_PLAY_FINISHED, code=8001, state=5200 072554.17 1 LsWaitAfterDialingOut : 8001,EV_PLAY_FINISHED,0,0,0,,, 072554.17 1 tw DialogicEvent 132,TDX_DIAL,0,0,0,,, 072554.17 1 event TDX_DIAL, code=132, state=5200 072554.17 1 LsWaitAfterDialingOut : 132,TDX_DIAL,0,0,0,,, 072603.30 1 tw dtmf 1 (1,49,49) 072603.30 1 event 1, code=49, state=5200 072603.30 1 LsWaitAfterDialingOut : 49,1,0,0,0,,, 072603.30 1 tw DialogicEvent 134,TDX_CST,49,0,0,DE_DIGITS,, 072603.30 1 event TDX_CST, code=134, state=5200 072603.31 1 LsWaitAfterDialingOut : 134,TDX_CST,49,0,0,DE_DIGITS,, 072605.58 1 tw dtmf 2 (1,50,50) 072605.58 1 event 2, code=50, state=5200 072605.58 1 LsWaitAfterDialingOut : 50,2,0,0,0,,, 072605.58 1 tw DialogicEvent 134,TDX_CST,50,0,0,DE_DIGITS,, 072605.58 1 event TDX_CST, code=134, state=5200 072605.58 1 LsWaitAfterDialingOut : 134,TDX_CST,50,0,0,DE_DIGITS,, 072607.75 1 tw dtmf 3 (1,51,51) 072607.75 1 event 3, code=51, state=5200 072607.75 1 LsWaitAfterDialingOut : 51,3,0,0,0,,, 072607.75 1 tw DialogicEvent 134,TDX_CST,51,0,0,DE_DIGITS,, 072607.75 1 event TDX_CST, code=134, state=5200 072607.75 1 LsWaitAfterDialingOut : 134,TDX_CST,51,0,0,DE_DIGITS,, 072627.44 0 btn Hangup on line 1 072627.44 1 event EV_TIMEOUT_HANGUP, code=9001, state=5200 072627.44 1 LsWaitAfterDialingOut : 9001,EV_TIMEOUT_HANGUP,0,0,0,,, 072627.44 1 rv add [Hangup Time]{5/10/2005 7:26:27 AM} 072627.44 1 state Hanging up call... SupportTeam Report post Posted 10/04/2005 10:04 PM 1. Once installed if I use the voiceguide program menu instead of the config.xml file to select the default inbound script it appears to change back to the config.xml settings when restarted, Is that meant to happen? Yes. To change the default starting script you need to change the Config.xml file. 2. When dialing an outbound number it doesn’t appear to be recognizing when the phone is being answered. Did the person answering the call say "Hello" etc. after answering the call? The Dialogic card will listen for something to be said on the line and will only then report the call as answered. Trace shows that the person answering the call pressed some DTMF tones. That is not treated as call answer - something must be spoken on the line. If handset has been just picked up and there is no sound heard then eventually the call will be judged as being connected (the reason codes in the trace will be listed as "CADENCE" or "NORINGBACK") but this takes 15-20 seconds for the Dialogic card to detect, and any DTMF tones heard will just prolong this process. NB. If you use T1/E1 ISDN lines then you will get instant notification when the recipient of the call picks up the handset. Share this post Link to post
Guest dean Report post Posted 10/04/2005 10:22 PM No I definitely spoke when answering the call. I pressed the keys after speaking to see what would happen. Have subsequently tried it again and just waited on the line for over 20 seconds. It eventually disconnected the call Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 10/05/2005 12:30 AM Should have noticed this line in your trace beforehand: 072551.27 1 dial answering machine detection disabled (see VG.INI file section [VGDialer] entry AM_DetectionMode to enable it) Please try setting AM_DetectionMode=Enabled in VG.INI, then restart VoiceGuide and make another call.
