Hi,

Ive just installed VG with the Dialogic patch. I have 2 x D600JCT and 1 x D300JCT in my machine, all running and configured. Ive used the sample config for the 4xE1s but VG is only showing the first 4 lines. How do I expand the view to make it show the rest?

Im also getting an error message :

"Err gc gc_OpenEX(:N_dtiB1T1:P_ISDN) Error (Opening Digital"

I assume this is due to the cards not having the E1's plugged in (Taking the machine to telehouse tomorrow)

all help much appreciated

regards

David Riches.

When using the evaluation version of VoiceGuide only up to 4 lines may be opened. This is one of the limitations of the Evaluation version (outlined here: http://www.voiceguide.com/vgFeatures.htm).

What is the ISDN protocol you will be using?

"Err gc gc_OpenEX(:N_dtiB1T1:P_ISDN) Error (Opening Digital"

Yes. This can be the reason for this error message. MMDDtw.txt traces would tell us more information about the error cause.

When running the script click on VoiceGuide's View menu and select 'Event Trace Log' option - selecting trace level to a value above 5 will save debug information to disk in VG's \log\ subdirectory. Then jsut restart VG to get the trace from the very beginning of program starting.

Many thanks.

E1 Protocol will either be DASS2 or DPNSS with q.931 signalling.

hope that helps! if its the lack of E1's thats the problem then i'll purchase a licence and shoot of to telehouse with my new IVR platform ;-)

This could be caused by the lines not being plugged in. Once the lines are plugged in try running Dialogic's own ISDIAG tool first before starting VoiceGuide - this will allow you to test the Dialoigc card's operation with those T1s before starting VoiceGuide.

If ISDIAG is workig fine then so will VoiceGuide.
