SupportTeam Report post Posted 10/10/2005 08:51 AM Are you referring to the .WAV or .VOX file format? Share this post Link to post
Guest elSueco Report post Posted 10/10/2005 09:18 AM Hello! Are you referring to the .WAV or .VOX file format? I am not sure. This is a question from the supportteam at Linksys. I have several threads regarding almost the same problem. So I sent a question to Linksys and they asked me what CODEC I use with my dialogic cards. It seems like there is a problem of communication between my PAP2-NA phone adapter and my dialogic cards. Thank you! jose Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 10/10/2005 09:37 AM You're using an analog line interface... a Codec is something used on Digital lines - a Codec is a defintion/process of how an analog signal gets encoded over Digital circuits... Just say you have a telephone handset attached to the line. From the other threads it looks like the hookflash problem can be replicated when you have a normal analog handset connected to the Linksys(?) I understand that the hookflash problem occurs all the time whereas the Loop Current Drop occurs sometimes? Get them to fix the hookflash problem first - it should be easier to get that worked out then the Loop Current Drop, and if they fix the hookflash maybe you'll be closer to getting the Loop Current Drop sorted out as well...
