kbamonte Report post Posted 11/01/2005 07:07 PM Hello, I had VG ver 5.2 running on a windows 2000 server, and it wokred fine - got a virus and killed it and started having problems with VG something about the registration was not valid for this product, but it wasn't the error 429. So i unistalled and reinstalled and now all i get is the "runtime error 429" when i try to run voiceguide. I have rebooted and reinstalled numerous times with no sucess. The uninstall process shoudl completely remove and unistall all .ocx files correct ? Thanks in advance, Kevin Bamonte Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/01/2005 07:51 PM Runtime error 429 usually means that there is some OCX missing on your system. I'd probably recommend you just reformat and reinstall windows from scratch. If you had a virus on your system then all kinds of other things could have happened to your machine which may not have been picked up by the anti-virus software. Best to just start with a clean slate. Share this post Link to post
Guest Kevin Bamonte Report post Posted 11/03/2005 02:50 PM Ok .... i completed wiped and reloaded the machine, installed voice guide and everything popped up fine, voice guide worked. I then installed the voice guide for dialogic patches and am back to the same error message i started with "Runtime error 429" - dialogic software won't come up at all. Help !
