With 4 lines, are there gateways recommended by Voiceguide ? If I buy a VoIp router-modem, do I need to buy a VoIp gateway ? Would this be easy to implement ? Do you think it is better to have a tel box that Voip telephone companies supply ? Are there any Voip tel company that supply their services without their tel boxes ? SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/06/2005 01:17 AM Should I buy D/4PCIUF card or D/41JCT-LS card ? D/41JCT would only be needed if you will be doing "Dial and Conference", or would need to bridge (cross-connect) callers together on the system. be able to receive calls, automatically call standard and mobile telephone lines, automatically deliver messages to people. All that's fine. Which kind of Voiceguide licenses should I Buy ? Professional or Enterprise ? Up to you. See: http://www.voiceguide.com/vgFeatures.htm Do I need to buy a dialer ? Yes - as it looks like you will be making outbound calls. If I buy a one line license, can I easily upgrade it to 4/8/12 lines? Yes. Just buy additional licenses as needed. And how much would this cost me ? Is it more expensive to do this rather than to directly buy 4 or more line-license ? If you upgrade within the month you can upgrade for the difference in price. After that you can upgrade by just buying additional licenses as needed or see bottom of: https://secure.voiceguide.com/order_vg.htm are there gateways recommended by Voiceguide ? No, pretty much anything will work. If I buy a VoIp router-modem, do I need to buy a VoIP gateway ? Not usually - best to speak with your phone company though. Are there any Voip tel company that supply their services without their tel boxes ? For info, I am located in France. You will need to speak with your local phone companies. Guest Dominique Report post Posted 11/07/2005 10:32 AM Thanks for your swift answer. That's a pleasure. I understand the Professional license would be fine for what I want to do. With a view to better understanding, could you just let me know what the options "subscripts" and "ActiveX server" mean in the Enterprise license. Thank you again Dominique Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/07/2005 07:15 PM "Subscripts" means that you can jump from one script to another midway though call. "ActiveX server" means that VoiceGuide's COM interface functions can be called from other programs (or from within VoiceGuide's VBScripts) Share this post Link to post
