Pre Sales General Questions

Recommended Posts

It said to post here vs email sales, so ill ask my generic questions:

Also - quick question, does your system support outbound calls via VOIP

what boards/hardware would you recommend for that?

===========================

Hello, our current outbound IVR system went up in smoke (literally). We used to pay on a per record basis to a hosted solution, now im looking at getting a more flexible/internal solution for our co.

I need the ability to:

make outbound calls from data posted over via the web (can be batch if mandatory - prefer closer to real time if possible)

on the outbound calls, play recorded messages depending on what the user presses (1 or 2)

Save the responses of the keys pressed

and also add the ability to (depending on the key pressed), transfer the call to an inbound call center.

My call volume needs are as low as 100 calls per day to 20000 calls per day.

Questions for you co:

What would I need to get started?

What's your pricing like (flat fee? per port? etc?)

What else do you think I should know (how many ports would i need - etc).

Sorry for the generic message, but I am sending out these to you and your competitors - so bear with me.

Can be done from web page - you can insert new outgoing calls to be made using VoiceGuide's ActiveX/COM interface. See: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/html/com_...tDialQueAdd.htm and also see: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/html/DialListInto.htm

on the outbound calls, play recorded messages depending on what the user presses (1 or 2)

Save the responses of the keys pressed

and also add the ability to (depending on the key pressed), transfer the call to an inbound call center.

All this is easily achieved - just create the script which you'd like to use on the outbound calls. See: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/html/ScriptIntro.htm and http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/html/ModuleTypes.htm

What would I need to get started?

Please see our WWW from where you can download the fully working evaluation version of the software. The demonstrations supplied will get you running in a matter of minutes. Also see: http://www.voiceguide.com/suppRecomHardware.htm

One-time purchase on a per-port basis. See: https://secure.voiceguide.com/order_vg.htm

The number of ports required would depend on the average length of your calls, and what would be the maximum number of calls you'd like to make per hour. the just calculate number of ports.

Eg: if you want to make 1000 calls per hour, and you know that the average length of calls you make is 3 minutes then each line can make 20 calls per hour, so you'll need to use 50 lines to make 1000 calls per hour....

As for VoIP - the standard way is to get a media gateway which converts VoIP channels to T1 or analog ports and just plug those T1 or analog ports into the Dialogic card.
