Guest jmiller808 Report post Posted 11/15/2005 10:36 PM i am getting an error in voice guide when starting up the program. i downloaded the most recent version and went through the installation of the vg for dialogic files. i have set up my config.xml file (not sure if im correct though). when i start up voice guide it loads up only 4 lines (which is expected due to running an eval copy) but each line has the following in its "state" column "dlgc dt_open error" we are using an ISDN Pri line with an NI2 protocol. i have attached a zip file containing both the voice guide log file that is created when i start the program, as well as the config.xml. any help would be greatly appreciated. SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/15/2005 11:49 PM Please set tracing level in VG's Debug Trace window to 10, then restart VG and post both the MMDDvgm.txt and MMDDtw.txt log files. Can you receive calls on this line when using ISDIAG? Share this post Link to post
Guest jmiller808 Report post Posted 11/16/2005 03:22 PM the original error message seemed to be caused by the dialogic card not starting after a reboot of the machine. however after starting the card, i restarted voice guide and i get the error "err gc gc_OpenEx(:N_dtib1t1:P_ISDN) error (opening digital line)...." Please set tracing level in VG's Debug Trace window to 10, then restart VG and post both the MMDDvgm.txt and MMDDtw.txt log files. i have attached a zip file containing the log files you asked for. Can you receive calls on this line when using ISDIAG? yes i have been able to both make and receive calls from isdiag log.zip Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/17/2005 12:23 AM Which version of Dialogic's System Release drivers are installed on this system? Was the 'Global Call' option selected when installing the Dialogic drivers? Share this post Link to post
Guest jmiller808 Report post Posted 11/17/2005 01:51 AM We installed Software Release 5.1.1 Also, we installed service Pack 1 for SR5.1.1 for Windows. I uninstalled both, and reinstalled them ,and installed the Global Call API,as well as all ISDN features. We had this working before, but only after you sent us a debugged version of Voiceguide for T1. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/17/2005 02:05 AM The trace shows that Global Call is not working on this machine. Installing the Global Call protocol package is not sufficient. The 'Global Call' option must be selected when installing SR5.1.1 Share this post Link to post
Guest jmiller808 Report post Posted 11/17/2005 03:45 AM It works! I was unable to find an 'Global Calling' Option, only a Global Calling API checkbox. So I uninstalled EVERYTHING, and reinstalled EVERY option, then installed VG for T1 (including re-registering the OCX files,et) and it worked.
