Guest jjfama Report post Posted 12/02/2005 08:47 PM We are using a T1 ISDN PRI line and would like to know if it would be possible to transfer a call with incoming and outgoing channels mapped 1 to 1. For example an incoming into channel 1 will be transferred/bridged to an outgoing call on channel 13, in CH2 out CH14, in CH3 out CH15 and so on, and not based on first available outgoing channel. I was also wondering what is the path and filename of the config file used to designate the outgoing channels using either csv, or XML. I would also like to know what is your recommended way of doing transfers when using a T1 ISDN line. Voiceguide configuration and T1 configuration. Thanks. Share this post Link to post

For example an incoming into channel 1 will be transferred/bridged to an outgoing call on channel 13, in CH2 out CH14, in CH3 out CH15 and so on, and not based on first available outgoing channel. Such mappings would need to be made in your script. I was also wondering what is the path and filename of the config file used to designate the outgoing channels using either csv, or XML. Outgoing channel used for "Dial and Conference" transfers is specified in the call transfer module itself. I would also like to know what is your recommended way of doing transfers when using a T1 ISDN line. Voiceguide configuration and T1 configuration. Dial and Conference is pretty much the only approach possible on T1/E1 ISDN lines. No changed need to be made to configuration - it's just connecting an incoming call with an outgoing call.
