2 Way Announced Conferencing

Hi I am doing 2 way announced conferencing. Ive set the fail and timeout path to go to a voice message recoding module. VG shows the module being played but its not heard on the calling line - instead it seems to be playing on the voicemail of the "called" phone "!

amend - its not 2 way but 3 way announced conferencing

 

also the module i refer to is [unableToReach] Playing (wavfiles\busy.wav)

 

 

Lastly - ive not defined the success path in the conferencing - can u suggest a success path that will keep the conferencing going and free the line for next incoming call?

Are you using a Dialogic card?

 

If yes then please download and install VG for Dialogic (see our WWW Downloads page).

 

Also, when posting traces please attach them as a .zip

I installed and had to uninstall VG for dialogic because of problems - please see my other thread re this.

 

Not happy to reinstall as the service is live

If you are using a Dialogic card and are doing call transfers you must use "VG for Dialogic".

 

The TAPI call transfers just do not work properly on Dialogic (which was the main reason why VG for Dialogic was released).

 

Not sure what problems you encountered with VG for Dialogic but I'd suggest moving to that version and if you encounter any problems then please post what they are and we can then assist further.

I have a paid enterprise version of VG

No, the same registration key will work for both versions.
