Lineerr_invalmedıamode

Please help me how to make it work on the evaluation mode. I am using Laptop Toshiba Software Modem and I have an error. I want to try to show this to my client so I can sell them your product.

I have managed to set up the modem but now the phone keeps ringing on the phone while the VG starts running the script. Event Log is

Looks like the modem is not answering the incoming call properly.

 

You should try another modem.

Hasan I am also using a Laptop Toshiba Software Modem and have the same error message under state 'LINEERR_INVALMEDIAMODE' The modem works fine when dialing out and answers when dialing in. Did you ever get your Toshiba software modem to work with voice guide? It's a laptop so getting another modem is not a solution and I know the modem works fine...I wonder if I need to set something up that I'm missing. I'm using the trial version of voice guide 5.2.5012 with one of their demo scripts.

Looks like Hasan used updated drivers for his modem, so the modem was able to function as a 'voice capable' modem. But looks like after installing new drivers Hasan's modem was not answering the call while showing to the application that it did answer the call.

 

If you are getting 'LINEERR_INVALMEDIAMODE' then it looks like your modem is not functioning as a voice modem - best to contact Toshiba to see if your modem can work as a voice modem.

Oh...I see. Thanks. That saves me a lot of working trying to figure out why the none Voice Modem would not work...I feel stupid now.
