SimonEdwards Report post Posted 12/21/2005 11:40 AM I have a small requirment you might be able to either help with or point me in the right direction. I have a client who wants a really basic answerphone type application across 4 analogue lines. He wants his callers to be able to leave messages, and either before they record the message or after they have finished they must be given an ID number which relates to their message. The Client then calls in to the system and listens to each message and the ID number relating to each message is spoken to him. Each mesage with also need to have, say, 5 status's (New, Read, Dispatched, On Hold, and Completed for example). Status is changed from new to read when it is first listened to, and then the client can change the status from read to any of the other status's as required (this could be as basic as going into an access database or something like that.) Finally the caller can ring in at a later time, enter the ID number they were given when they recorded their message, and hear the current status. Does this sound like something I could acheive with VoiceGuide? Many thanks Simon Edwards Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/21/2005 08:20 PM VoiceGuide can do what you describe below, and is used in a number of similar applications already. Please see our WWW from where you can download the fully working evaluation version of the software. The demonstrations supplied will get you running in a matter of minutes. Sounds like you should be looking into modifying the voicemail scripts to add this extra functionality. To get a quote on getting the scripts done for you, send an email to sales@voiceguide.com with detailed specs of what you want the script to do. Share this post Link to post
