Guest C McMahon Report post Posted 12/29/2005 06:12 AM Installing a Proline/2v board in a dell pe2400 running MSServer2003. Board is installed and started. Installed sr5.1.1 using "standard tapi" option + sr5.1.1sp1 + Global Call 4.2 Got all files copied with the dialogic option and was able to register tapiwrap.ocx and mscomm32.ocx but kttelcontrol.ocx gave the following RegSvr32 error: LoadLibrary("ktelcontrol.ocx")failed - The specified module could not be found. Please offer a specific suggestion. Also, I already own a single user license used in another very old machine and am upgrading to something more powerful. I don't want to use the old nic card. What are the procedures to get the license attached to another card? Also if I upgrade to Enterprise and add another license is this a moot point? Thanks so much. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/29/2005 07:21 AM LoadLibrary("ktelcontrol.ocx")failed - The specified module could not be found. Have you copied over the DLL files (especially libexpat.dll) ? Guest C McMahon Report post Posted 12/29/2005 02:24 PM Yes, I copied kttelcontrol.ocx, mscomm32.ocx and libexpat.dll into the "c:\windows\system32" directory. Upon going into this directory in the dos prompt and executing the command "regsvr32 kttelcontrol.ocx", I received the error message previously mentioned. Also, since this card has 2 ports will the config.xml need to be modified, and if so do I just delete the 3rd and 4th port. Thanks Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/29/2005 09:52 PM Which version of Win2003 are you using? Small Business Server? R2? We have a Win2003 SBS as one of our test machines here, and the install works OK. Attached is a list of all the DLLs that ktTelControl.ocx requires. Please check if all of these files are present in the \System32\ directory. Also, since this card has 2 ports will the config.xml need to be modified, and if so do I just delete the 3rd and 4th port. Yes, just delete port 3 and 4. Share this post Link to post
Guest C McMahon Report post Posted 12/30/2005 05:37 AM These files are all in the specified directory. I am running Windows Small Business Server 2003 Premium Edition - no Service Packs. I am downloading SP1 to install on the machine. Maybe this SP installs some the .dll files that you indicated with a more recent date? Share this post Link to post
