CSI Report post Posted 12/29/2005 12:32 PM What are the benefits of switching to VG for Dialogic? I have a 16 port system (soon to be upgraded to 28) and a 4 port system. I have *a lot* of sound files that would need conversion to a new format (I believe?). Currently, VG is performing well. Is there any performance or quality improvement? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/29/2005 09:38 PM VG for Dialogic can achieve better sound quality (with properly recorded sound files), and has extended call transfer functionality. It does not use Wave drivers which eliminates problems associated with those as well. There are a few other minor extra features as well. If things are working fine for you then you'd probably would want to save yourself the headache of changing the system around though... Share this post Link to post
