Guest Kevin Bamonte Report post Posted 12/31/2005 01:10 AM Hello, I noticed there are many question posted about the script designer bugs. Most of the posts are from a year to two years old. My question is "Has the script designer been updated recently ?" My issues with it are : printing - does not qork correctly, will not print the entire script out graphically scroll bars - when clicking on the scroll bars they sometimes roll on and on windows shortcut keys - some shortcut keys do not work where you enter in vb code (i.e. paste, copy etc) Thank you - Share this post Link to post

These problems seem to occur on lower-spec machines only. windows shortcut keys - some shortcut keys do not work where you enter in vb code (i.e. paste, copy etc) We're not aware of any problems with this - cut/copy/paste works OK in the VBScript module. Guest Kevin A. Bamonte Report post Posted 12/31/2005 02:17 AM are there any plans on upgrading the print function ? Printing part of the script is not very useful at all when trying to design a 'total' solution, espesically when planning the script out. I am running a brand new Dell Pentium 4 3.0ghz, 512mb ram and am having the scrollbar problem. It seems to not scroll smoothly at all. Is it based on the actual modules on the screen ? If held too long the screen will scroll way off to the one side. It is very hard navigate around the script. The windows shortcut keys I mentioned are totally absent in the vb editor. You can cut, copy and paste by right clicking with the mouse but unlike most windows based programs you can not use the keyboard keys, ctrl+X to cut, ctrl+C to copy, ctrl+V to paste. Also, being able to "search" or "search and replace" through the code would be very helpful. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/31/2005 04:44 AM are there any plans on upgrading the print function ? Not in the immediate future - we dont get many enquiries about that function. The scroll bar problem is on the 'TO-DO list. you can not use the keyboard keys, ctrl+X to cut, ctrl+C to copy, ctrl+V to paste. The Ctrl keys work fine on our test machines, we can Ctrl-X/Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V in the text windows where the VBScript code is typed. Share this post Link to post
