Wav Files Playing Slowly

I'm using VG (w/Dialogic Update), a Dialogic card and have installed it as per instructions on your site. The operating system is win 2003 and is running on a lightly-used dual processor machine with 1G of Ram.

When I use TTS, the sound quality is fine over the telephone.

When I load a pre-recorded Wav file (11khz, 8-bit, mono) it plays very slowly.

Ideas?

VG for Dialogic uses 8kHz sound files.

 

11kHz will sound slow...
