Guest Kevin Sheng Report post Posted 01/20/2006 08:29 PM Our VoiceGuide box is having crazy page file increase and voiceguide memory usage is climbing high while new calls keep coming in. I searched this forum, still didn't help. I need help. Can you point out if this is a known issue please and give me some kind of direction towards how to solve this. Our customers are getting upset. I am using Voiceguide latest version and dialogic software release 5.1. I have a few scripts running in the VG script using ADO to connect to database. I closed and released connections, parameter objects are set to nothing as well. recordset is set to nothing when the script finishes. The only thing I can think to leak memory is voiceguide or dialogic. This is the very first project I am using voiceguide for, and plan to use it for next projects, if I can solve the memory problem. Thanks for help. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 01/20/2006 11:17 PM We've observed no memory leaks during testing and nobody else reported any issues with memory leaks. Which version of VG are you using? If you're doing database accesses then you may want to look at the database driver. What call volumes and memory usage are we looking at here? Which version of Windows are you using? How much memory is in your machine? Are you using SR5.1 or SR5.1.1 with SP1? Share this post Link to post

SupportTeam Report post Posted 01/24/2006 12:59 AM As we mentioned before, we have not observed memory leaks. Memory usage will fluctuate over time, and VG does use a lot more memory then your average application, but there is no upward usage creep over long time. Share this post Link to post
