SupportTeam Report post Posted 01/24/2006 08:57 PM Which call log file are you referring to? Share this post Link to post
Guest Guest_thomasvanderhoof Report post Posted 01/24/2006 11:04 PM I am referring to the one that you can access from the Call Log Button in the main program. It keeps track of all in-coming calls. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 01/24/2006 11:54 PM The script related log files can be turned off. In VG.INI section [Log] set: Scripts=off Share this post Link to post
Harry L. Roberts Report post Posted 01/25/2006 02:40 PM On my system the call log button brings up the file named YourScriptName.vgl. I guess you could delete that file. It is located in the same directory as you script. If the file does not exist VG I beleive will recreate it. Why would you want to clear or delete this log? The ability to sort the list from oldest to newest and newest to oldest would be nice. Maybe this will be added in the future. Currently mine list the calls oldest to newest which means you have to do a lot of scrolling if you want to look at a recent call. If that is your problem or concern maybe you could request the ability to sort the calls. I wouldn't think it would be much to ask for. Share this post Link to post
Guest thomasvanderhoof Report post Posted 01/25/2006 04:00 PM You are correct about deleting the VGL file in the folder where the script is located. VG creates a new one upon receiving a call in the script. Yes, I agree that there should be a sort so that you can see newest to oldest. Perhaps a filter would be good too. I often need to look to see how many calls had been placed by a certain number. Admin monitors all posts, so they know already that this would be some good features. Thanks for your sugestion about deleting the VGL file. Share this post Link to post
Harry L. Roberts Report post Posted 01/25/2006 06:15 PM You might want to open the YourScriptName.csv file located in the same directory as your script. You can open it with MS Excel. With Excel you can do whatever you want with the data. Share this post Link to post
