i will describe in details the problem

1- i install the personal oracle database Release 3 (8.1.7) for Windows 98 ,with oracle ODBC driver, in host machine called (sam) the global database name(trust.trust) , SID (trust) and the nasme of database(trust) and service name = (trust.trust),net service name (force).

local machine name =(sam)

global database name=(trust.trust)

SID =(trust)

service name =(trust.trust)

net service name =(force)

second net service name =(trust.trust)

2- i'm creat 3 DSN

the first called qqq with oracle ODBC driver it tested and succesed , the second called (test) with Microsoft ODBC for oracle it tested and succesed , the third name test1 with Microsoft ODBC for oracle it tested and succesed .i ttatched the log file with configuration of database module

QQQ DSN with oracle ODBC driver

TEST dsn with microsoft ODBC for oracle

TEST1 dsn with microsoft ODBC for oracle

 

 

i attche the log file and the db module
