Guest ooper Report post Posted 01/31/2006 03:18 AM When our system dials out, there is a delay before the script starts. Is there a way to reduce this delay? After I answer the phone and say "hello", it takes 2-3 seconds before VG shows that a "live person answered" and then it will start playing a sound file. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 01/31/2006 03:22 AM It depends on quality of line and background noise - but detection of whether the answering machine or a live person answered the call should take less then 2-3 seconds. Usually it would take under a second from the time the person answering the call stops speaking. Do you need to distinguish between answering machine and a live person answer?
