Is Play Sound File Module A Subset Of

Is there anything that I can do with the Play Sound File module but I cannot do with the Capture Entered Number module?

Text to speech directly from text entered into the module.

 

Get Numbers does not have the ability to do Text to Speech with text entered directly into the module. The Play Sound Module has the ability to enter text directly into the module to be spoken.

 

Get Numbers can do tts with a text file. There is just no place to enter text directly into the module to be spoken.

 

Play Sound module will Play DTMF tones and Hookflash. Get Numbers might do this but the Help file doesn't mention it. You might give it a try and report back here. If it does work maybe the Help File could be updated.

Yes, it is basically a subset of the Get Numbers module.

 

Get Numbers module will play DTMFs and hookflashes, and will TTS if a text file is specified as the sound file to be played.
