BrianDocherty Report post Posted 01/31/2006 10:32 PM Is there any way to capture DTMF high tones (ABCD) in the Get Number module. I can see them being detected in the log but Get Number filters them out (presumably as they are not numbers). Thanks Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 01/31/2006 10:48 PM Which version of VoiceGuide are you using? Can you post a trace log capturing what you see? Share this post Link to post
BrianDocherty Report post Posted 02/01/2006 12:15 AM Thanks for the response Using the latest 5.2.5012 download. Will post log tommorow (I am in the UK ) but I can assure you that incoming ABCD DTMF is detected in the cAll Log Browser but not displayed in the VG status window - only numeric incoming DTMF - and the ABCDs do not seem to add to the digit count. The ABCDs are defineteli in the Call Log Browser and accurately detected, if fact unless the PBX call clear setting is changed from the default setting D, then receiving D will clear the call. SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/01/2006 12:50 AM In v5.x (the 'TAPI' version of VoiceGuide) the Get Numbers module will only recognize DTMF tones 0-9 and only add these to the 'entered number' record. In 'VoiceGuide for Dialogic' the DTMF tones A-D will also be recognized in the Get Numbers module and added to the 'entered number' record. Share this post Link to post
BrianDocherty Report post Posted 02/01/2006 01:23 AM Thanks for the clarification Any reason to make this distinction between teh TAPI version and teh Dialogioc version with respect to the treatment of ABCD ? Thanks Brian Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/01/2006 02:18 AM The TAPI version of VoiceGuide just does not offer the more advanced features. There is no demand for such features them as professional solutions use Dialogic cards anyway. Handling of ABCD could be added to the TAPI version, but this would be a customized addition - contact sales@VoiceGuide.com for a quote. Share this post Link to post
