wktsang1 Report post Posted 02/11/2006 04:59 AM There are 13 Dialog/4 cards in my IVRS server (Win2000 SP4) using Dialogic System Release 5.1.1, I find that sometimes the Dialogic service failure to start up, this situation occurs around 1 time over 10 windows restart. I check the Window Event Log and find the following errors are showed - The Dialogic service hung on starting. - The Dialogic service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 0 milliseconds: No action. - TDM bus user settings were rewritten because of bus configuration failure 0x20000060. This will happen if the resources have changed and is usually not cause for alarm. - The Dialogic service terminated with service-specific error 16383. - NCMAPI...UNCM_GetValueEx() failed. Family - D/x1D, Device - Dialog/4-d8000, Variable - PciBusNumber, Requested data not found in NCM data storage I want to know if it is related to hardware (Dailogic or Motherboard) or software (Dialogic System Release or Window) problem. SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/12/2006 01:41 AM 13 cards in one PC? How? Are you using an ISA Bus extender? You would need to raise your problems with Intel directly via your Dialogic distributor. They would be able to advise better on how to track down this problem, or indeed if this configuration is even supported. Share this post Link to post
wktsang1 Report post Posted 02/13/2006 12:59 AM I am using industrial Case, Intel said there is no problem fur such configuration, now my problem is to find out whther it is hardware or shotware problem. I search this search and someone suggest to add 'Global Call' while installing SR5.1.1, does it related to my problem? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/13/2006 01:39 AM Don't see how Global Call would affect the intermittent service starting problems which you experience. The questions you have would be best addressed to Intel directly (probably best to start with the contact who advised that the configuration you are using would not be a problem).
