Guest Guest_Jack Report post Posted 02/17/2006 07:58 PM I'm evaluating VG 5.2.5012 with a Dialogic D/4PCI. Everything was working fine until my calls (outbound) started to disconnect unexpectedly. The calls disconnect at what seem to be random points within the script, at different modules, and different points in the tts modules. This now happens with any previously functioning script 100% of the time. However, when I let the answering machine pickup, the scripts play through to completion 100% of the time. I am calling out on a VOIP line and answering on an analog line. I tried reversing the lines, no change. I reinstalled vg, no change, I tweaked my tsf file, eliminating the disconnect tone altogether, no change. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, Jack Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/17/2006 11:00 PM Most likely explanation is that the Dialogic card is falsely detecting disconnect tones as the definition of the disconnect tone is too loose. Could you please post a copy of VoiceGuide's Debug Printout which captures the problem, this will allow us to see what happened. When running the script click on VoiceGuide's View menu and select 'Event Trace Log' option - any log information will then appear in this window. You must open the trace window before making the call. You can enable the automatic saving of the logs to files in \log\ directory as well. When posting traces/scripts please .ZIP them up and post them as attachments. Share this post Link to post
Guest Guest_Jack Report post Posted 02/19/2006 01:36 PM I eliminated the problem of the disconnects. I suspected that something in the dialogic software had become corrupted, possibly the wave driver. I took the opportunity to install 5.1.1 SP1 which had not been previously installed, and the problem disappeared. As I indicated, everything had been working fine, prior to this problem suddenly appearing and affecting 100% of live answer calls. Have you heard of this before? Should I consider using VG for Dialogic? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/19/2006 09:37 PM We'd definitely recommend using VG for Dialogic. You will need to configure the busy/disconnect/etc tones in ConfigLine.xml file when using VG for Dialogic on analog lines. Share this post Link to post
