Guest Jake Rog Report post Posted 07/01/2003 03:01 PM We had a professional recording studio record a few prompts for our busines. They gave us the results in MP3 format which sounds TERRIFIC!!! After we convert the MP3 files to necessary Windows PCM (8000HZ, Mono, 16bit sound) format they sound terrible, hissing sound. We have tried all sorts of MP3 to WAV converters with the same result. Please let me know if there is anything that we can do to drastically improve the quality and make it sound more like the original recorded format. We are using Voice Guide Pro (REGISTERED) the AOpen FM 56-PM PCI modem. Thank you, Jake Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/02/2003 12:16 AM We found CoolEdit usually converted sound files pretty well (www.cooledit.com). If you cannot get it to work well for you I'd suggest asking the studio to supply the prompts in the Wav PCM (8000HZ, Mono, 16bit) format. Share this post Link to post
