Guest 24 Seven Report post Posted 03/09/2006 06:30 PM I'm currently testing VG with a single external modem, but I'm going to deploy it in a Dell server running W2K3 server using 4 ports. I assume I can use the D/41JCT-LS? It looks like the other 4 port boards like D/4PCIUF are no longer supported. Is there anything better to use? Additionally, would the D/42JCTU work on an IP Office? And is it supported by VG, and if so, better than analog? Share this post Link to post

D/4PCIUF is supported and is a current board. Some comments on Intel website say "use D/4PCIUF or D/4PCIU4S instead of D/4PCIU" but there are no comments that we've seen that would advise that D/4PCIUF will be phased out... All of the D/4PCI series boards will work fine with VoiceGuide. Is there anything better to use? D/41JCT-LS is the top of the range card for 4 port analog. Additionally, would the D/42JCTU work on an IP Office? Don’t know. You'd be better off checking with Avaya and Intel distributors. And is it supported by VG D/42JCT is supportd by VG. and if so, better than analog? D/42JCT is an analog card. The PBX integration is done 'inband' over the analog line - pretty much the same way as CallerID is sent over analog lines... Share this post Link to post
