Guest Robert Report post Posted 03/20/2006 06:59 PM I am interested in using the software to reroute calls to 2nd phone and with option to answer or pass through to voicemail. Is that possible? Example: Customer calls buisiness phone with VoiceGuide installed on that computer (I’m usng Vonage by the way). If nobody picks up from the business phone I would like the call to be routed to 2nd phone in different building with the call presenting the one who picks up the phone with an option to pick answer the call or pass it to voicemail. -Robert Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/20/2006 08:28 PM VoiceGuide can do what you describe, and is used in a number of similar applications already. Please see our WWW from where you can download the fully working evaluation version of the software. The demonstrations supplied will get you running in a matter of minutes. presenting the one who picks up the phone with an option to pick answer the call or pass it to voicemail. Use "Announced Transfer" option to give the person receiving the call the option to accept the call or decline it. Share this post Link to post
Guest dwells Report post Posted 02/13/2007 10:41 PM I searched the forums pretty extensively for help with transferring calls with my Vonage VoIP lines. Here's what I finally did to get it to work - and thought I'd contribute to this post for fellow searchers: I use VG for Dialogic 1) I set the hookflash to 40ms in data/config.xml. I could not get vonage to recognize the default 10 and only intermediately on 20-30ms. 2) In the script editor, from Edit -> PBX Command Strings I changed my hookflash string from a "!" to a "!#90" (Vonage's user manual states to hit hook flash, then #90, then dial number to transfer to) Share this post Link to post
