SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/21/2006 10:54 PM We were advised that on Win2003 you sometimes get this error pop-up. Apparently one Microsoft's own module's that we ship with VoiceGuide is creating this error, but the entire app does work fine, because Win2003 apparently has that particular module installed already (?). so the vb modules generate an error cant find library Can you please post a screenshot or log of that error. max Report post Posted 03/22/2006 09:43 AM first of all i posted a screen shot. secondly IT DOES NOT work properly, like I said very clearly the vb control is nowhere to be found Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/22/2006 01:02 PM The Windows Scripting Host comes with Win2003, so all the VBScript components should work despite Win2003 showing the message you posted. secondly IT DOES NOT work properly, Can you post a VoiceGuide script that you are unable to run, along with the trace from VoiceGuide capturing the problem. When running the script click on VoiceGuide's View menu and select 'Event Trace Log' option - any log information will then appear in this window. You must open the trace window before making the call. You can enable the automatic saving of the logs to files in \log\ directory as well. When posting traces/scripts please .ZIP them up and post them as attachments. Share this post Link to post
max Report post Posted 03/22/2006 01:08 PM i am being misunderstood. i have no problem with the script generator. I do have a problem with the vb active x control. it's not on my system. if i open one of your sample vb projects, the reference is not to be found. CreateObject("VoiceGuide.CommandLink") "voiceguide" activex is not around Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/22/2006 01:13 PM VoiceGuide itself (VgMulti.exe) needs to be running in order for the VoiceGuide.CommandLink COM interface to be available. First time you run VG it registers itself, and then whenever you invoke the VoiceGuide.CommandLink COM interface VoiceGuide will be automatically started if it is not running already.
