Error Starting Dialogic Service For D/120jct-ls

Recommended Posts

Hi colleagues,

About two weeks ago I have successfully installed dialogic D/120JCT-LS on my HP Compaq (WinXP SP2 original). I have also downloaded and successfully installed SR5.1.1 (with settings are default) and have installed SP1 for SR5.1.1. All drivers were installed according to the user guide instructions. Finally, I have downloaded and installed the @Intell recommended VoiceGuide softwere (latest version). By yesterday both the Configuration Manager and the VoiceGuide trial software were starting and operating without problems. I was restarting software every hour as I got trial version. It was fine. Yesterday I have restarted the VoiceGuide soft and it didn't run. After, I have rebooted my computer and Configuration Manager displayed "Error Starting Dialogic Service" message right after I have run it and I couldn't go any further. For the several attempts I got the same message. I have tried to use the universal Dialogic Diagnostics (UDD) and got the code below:

System Download ....

ERROR from pCTBB_SetClientParm (bus type support level):

CTBB_ERROR_INVALID_CLIENT_TYPE: Client type (technology) invalid

I have installed everything on another computer with fresh system. But the story was the same.

I need your advice on the reason of this problem. Is it a hardware or software error? Do you have any idea what happened and do you think the card is demaged?

Thank you for any ideas on this.

Regards,

Gevorg

Was anything else changed on this system around the time the Dialogic card stopped working?

I'd try re-installing the SR drivers first.

If problems persist then you should contact your local Dialogic distributor from where you purchased the card regarding this and arrange for the card to be tested by them.

UDD results are not always correct.
