Guest Sean H Report post Posted 04/03/2006 03:46 PM Hi there, I have a Dialogic D120JCT-LS card which we use for playing voice treatments. Now then, we currently have 8 phone lines that are working fine, that utilise the top 4 ports of the Dialogic card. This is because the cables out of 2 numbers are joined together into an eventual RJ14 (6 strand) connector. So, until i can substitue a couple of cables around, can anyone confirm the following wiring is correct please............. Male phone sockets (clip at top) 6 orange 5 red a1 & a2 4 blue 3 green 2 white b1 & b2 1 black rj14 male end (clip at back) 6 orange 5 red b1 4 blue a1 3 green b2 2 white a2 1 black ....where a1 & b1 are from the 1st telephone cable, and a2 & b2 are the second cable 2 of my new ports just ring out but 2 have a horrible buzz and dont work as they should. Can anyone give me some advice please. Many thanks, Sean Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 04/03/2006 09:05 PM The wiring diagram for the D/120JCT is detailed in the "Quick Install Guide" : http://resource.intel.com/telecom/support/...LS/1215-002.pdf If you're finding some of the lines are not working well with the card then you should contact the Dialogic reseller from where the card was purchased. SupportTeam Report post Posted 04/06/2006 09:24 PM Guess it all depends on what colors are Tip and Ring... Just try it and see if it works. Another post re. D/120JCT wiring is here: http://voiceguide.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3844 Share this post Link to post
