Script Designer Does Not Start

Hi,

 

I have been happily using Script Designer to design scripts under Windows 2000 with latest service pack. After a couple of re-boots of the machine, when I try to launch Script Designer, it does not start. I get a minimised window down on the taskbar, however, I get no window on the desktop when I click on the minimsed windows. Nothing has changed on the machine. The version of Voiceguide is 4.9, which was licensed some time ago.

 

I would be happy to upgrade but I do not know whether I can with the 4.9 license.

Try going to registry and looking at this entry:

 

CURRENT_USER\Software\Katalina\VoiceGuide\ScreenPos

 

then look at keys GsdLeft and GsdTop

 

Set them both to 0 and the Script Designer window should open next time in top left corner of screen.
