In the USA it is easy, we only have digits, what is the best practice method for dealing with Alphanumeric codes. Do you turn each digits in the numbers and try all of the options. Thanks. Do you turn each digits in the numbers and try all of the options. If you have a small number of options then you could write a script which does such matching... what character combinations are you trying to recognize? Two character state codes? My plan was to figure out the permutations and if we have multiple cities returned use tts to play back and have the user select. I did not know what others have done but I would imagine that IVR systems written for Europe would have resolved this a long time ago. Share this post Link to post
