Jeffa Report post Posted 04/13/2006 01:27 PM I am planning on setting up a call center that must do inbound and outbound calling. I have a single toll free phone number that I wish to direct to the call center so many callers can reach us at the same time. I do not know what the call volume will be, but I do know I will have more than one person calling in at a time (probably 4 inbound at a time). I looked at the pricing on some Dialogic cards, and decided that it makes the most sense for me to purchsae a D160SCLS card so I can handle some future expansion. If I purchase this card, must I purchase a 12 user license or do I purchase the actual number of users that will really be using the card (4 to start). My understanding is that I need the following equipment: 1) VOIP gateway (PSTN - VOIP) 2) D160SCLS 2) Voiceguide (4 person license - see above) I think the "easy" planning part concerns the dialogic card and voiceguide. I do not really understand how the VOIP gateway works, although I do know that it is much cheaper to user VOIP than lease a T1 line, especially as my call volume goes up. So, figuring I might as well plan it right now, I would like suggestions on companies that could assist me in buying a VOIP gateway and one that could provide the actual VOIP service. No need to purchase a 16 line license (D160SCLS handles 16 lines). You just need to purchase the license for the number of ports which you will be using. I would like suggestions on companies that could assist me in buying a VOIP gateway and one that could provide the actual VOIP service. Vonage seems to be a popular choice... Jeffa Report post Posted 05/16/2006 04:58 PM I've installed the d/21D and loaded the software and it appears that I need to tell the software in the config.xml or the congigline.xml that this is a 2 port card, rather than a 4 port card (I am getting errors on lines 3&4 which do not exist when I run the software). Can you please tell me what lines need to be edited and what needs to be replaced in the lines. Thanks Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 05/18/2006 07:57 AM Have a look at the config.xml file and delete the sections for lines 3 and 4. Share this post Link to post
