Guest jmiller808 Report post Posted 04/20/2006 06:03 PM We have a successful implementation of voiceguide using a T1 PRI line (ISDN). However, we would like to purchase another license of voiceguide to run on a Channelized T1 with a dialogic D241 JCT board. Does voiceguide support channelized T1? The reason for doing this is that the Channelized T1 is a VOIP solution which enables us to pay a flat rate for LD calls. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 04/20/2006 09:52 PM What call control would be used on this new T1? Will it also be ISDN? Share this post Link to post
Guest jmiller808 Report post Posted 04/21/2006 10:50 PM The new T1 would not be ISDN. They do not offer that capability. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 04/22/2006 04:30 AM OK, Channelized T1 - "CT1" is just another term for "Robbed Bit" lines... Please confirm this with Telco to make sure that's what they mean... Robbed Bit signaling is fine. Dialogic cards can work with Robbed Bit. ISDN is preferred to Robbed Bit though as it provides more call information and is easier to setup...
