I have a few question before I purchase the software though. I am looking at the Voice Guide Enterprise 24 line for $1950 and need to make sure it is compatible with the Dialogic D/240 JCT-T1 R2U Card. We will be using a Voip with a 23 channel PRI to bring the lines over to the server. Do you see any problem with this setup ? Thank you in advance, Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 04/23/2006 08:57 PM This is a standard setup, and many of our customers are doing precisely that. Do you know what PRI protocol will be used on the lines? Share this post Link to post

Guest kevin Report post Posted 04/24/2006 05:25 PM Also, I was reading some previous posts in this forum, is there a special version of voiceguide that allows it to use VoIP ? As stated above, I was planning on using the Enterprise 24 line version for $1950, is this the correct version ? Thanks in advance Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 04/24/2006 10:31 PM The line which you will get from Telco is a T1 line, and that's what you plug into the Dialogic card. The call control on the T1 lines is a ISDN or "Robbed Bit". The Telco can then send the calls over VoIP, but between you and the Telco the calls are carried over T1. It's preferred if the T1 is an ISDN type of T1, ISDN Is that T1 line going to be an ISDN line or a Robbed Bit line? When you say: 23 channel PRI this suggests that it is an ISDN line, but then you say: esf which suggests it will be Robbed Bit. You should confirm with the Telco what type of T1 line they are providing and preferably get an ISDN type line as more information about calls is provided over those lines. Guest Kevin Report post Posted 04/25/2006 03:57 PM The telco has indicated they are providing a PRI with a Switchtype of: "National ISDN 2". The framing on the PRI is: "esf, b8zs". Will that work ok with this card and software? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 04/25/2006 04:07 PM OK, that's fine. "National ISDN 2" is a common type of ISDN and works fine with Dialogic cards and VoiceGuide. Share this post Link to post
