shorerestiral Report post Posted 04/28/2006 02:08 PM Hi, I'm having an error on my line device, LINEERR_INVALMEDIAMODE What I think is happening is the XP Media Center has control of the modem and it grabs any incomming calls to display Caller ID on my machine. I've diabled that part in Media Center, but I still cannot get VoiceGuide to recogize or pick up any calls. Anyone experience a similiar issue? Thanks. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 04/28/2006 11:00 PM This is an error that shows up if you are using a modem that does not support 'Voice', or the modem's drivers do not support 'Voice'. You options are to either get updated drivers for the modem or use another modem, or (preferably) get a Dialogic card. Share this post Link to post

SupportTeam Report post Posted 02/07/2008 10:18 PM We'd suggest not using modems at all and just getting a Dialogic card. If price is an issue then look on EBay for second-hand cards which can be found there at lower prices. Share this post Link to post
