Recording Silence Detection Parameters Not Set By Vbs

Hi, I want to set the Silence detection parameters for Level & length RVs (SilenceDetectLvl & SilenceDetectLen) using VBS, but it doesn't work when returning these RVs from a VBS module. It DOES work when setting these parameters by 2 evaluate modules.

 

So, why does evaluate work and VBS not? This is also true of other system RVs, like DIRSYSTEMVOICE - so is it the case with ALL system RVs?

 

This anomoly is quite frustrating, can anything be done about it? (sometime?)

Yes, you need to use the Eval Expr module to set these system RVs.

they will most likely be settable via RvSet etc in near future.
