Transfer Call To Another Phone On A Keypress

Hi,

Is there a way to Transfer Call to another Phone line (who could be a live operator) when a particular key is pressed by the receiver of the call.

 

We are using Intel dialogic PCI/4D card and Voice guide (version 5.2.3063 Enterprise version) with the TAPI drivers?

 

If it is not possible with this combinations of hardware and software what combanation of hardware and software will allow us to transfer a call when a key is pressed by the receiver of the call ?

Hi,

In regards to the 'Transfer Call to another Phone line', I still have one question.

We are using Intel dialogic PCI/4D ANALOG card and Voice guide (version 5.2.3063 Enterprise version) with the TAPI drivers? I had forgotten to specify the 'ANALOG' type!

Will this ANALOG card work for the purpose required?

Dialogic PCI/4D will allow you to do Hookflash type transfers, but not "Dial and Conference" type transfers.

Just for the sake of clarity: 'hook-flash' is also called 'blind-transfer' in VG's call transfer options.

The "PBX Blind Transfer" is a hookflash type transfer.

There are other blind transfers as well, eg. you can have a "Dial and Conference Blind Transfer".

"Blind" just means that the transfer is completed immediately without waiting for the transfer destination to answer the call or start ringing etc.
