Guest EricGuest Report post Posted 06/08/2006 06:56 PM Attached are the logs. Although I've checked the "Randomize" box , the outbound dialer is still dialing in sequential order. Does it matter if I designate a Prefix? I use Proline/2V, Windows 98. Licensed latestest version. Also, how do I pause or stop the dialing process while the dialer is working? Thanks EricGuestNonRandomizedlog.zip Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 06/09/2006 10:59 AM Please update to latest VG for Dialogic - you should be using VGD and not the TAPI version of VoiceGuide. Share this post Link to post
Guest EricGuest Report post Posted 06/12/2006 02:25 AM Okay, as per other posts, I've upgraded to Windows 2000, VoiceGuide for Dialogic patch. Using Proline/2V . Apart from caller id not being processed by VoiceGuide after reported by my card (which is being dealt with in another thread), I'm still having problems with the "randomize" function not working for outbound dialing. I specified "xxx" as wildcard numbers for the last 3 digits of the full phone number (ie. 555-555-5xxx). I see the a quick message popup when I press the "Load numbers", something about doing a 'random for the que', but then the system still dials in logical sequential order. Under what conditions is the "randomize" feature supposed to work? Thanks Eric Share this post Link to post
Guest EricGuest Report post Posted 06/12/2006 05:53 AM Pertaining to this problem of not having random dialing, Attached is a .zip file showing an example situation where I had the dialer load the number list 6045555xxx . It contains various logs, ConfigLine.xml, Config.xml, vg.ini, OutDialQue.mdb, OutDial_Dialed.txt, OutDialQue.mdb. I've even included a screenshot of the Dialer showing where I've checked off the "randomize" box. Note the OutDialQue.mdb which shows the numbers to be dialed in sequential (not random?) order. Thanks for your help. Eric EricGuest_NoRandomOutboundlog.zip Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 06/14/2006 10:52 AM Looks like the Number Loader was case sensitive. So the uppercase X would have worked (randomized properly) but the lowercase x would not... The attached .exe should no longer have this bug. VgDialer_5.2.1028.zip Share this post Link to post
Guest EricGuest Report post Posted 06/15/2006 06:22 AM Your .exe fix worked. I'm getting randomized dialing. Thanks Share this post Link to post
