Martin Roy Report post Posted 06/12/2006 03:46 PM We just bought from ScanSoft Felix French Canadian Voice 22khz, and I am not able to listen to the text, when I going in the "Voice" in control pannel, it's working, but not with VoiceGuide, is there any solution for that problem. I work ok with ScanSoft Virginie_Dri40_16kHz but the voice quality is poor. Could you help me. Share this post Link to post

SupportTeam Report post Posted 06/15/2006 06:43 PM You should get a TTS capable of creating 8kHz WAV files, which VG will then convert over to VOX files which Dialogic plays. VG will ask the TTS (via SAPI) to create 8kHz files, and the engine should follow these instructions. What are giou seeing actually happen when you try to use the TTS? Enable logging by setting the log levels to 10 in VG.INI as per below: [Log] VoiceGuide=10 NumberLoader=0 VoicemailManager=0 EmailSender=0 TapiWrapOcx=10 SapiWrapOcx=10 Then make a test call which demonstrates the problem. Debug Trace files will be created in VG's \log\ subdirectory. Please post the traces and the VoiceGuide script used. When posting traces/scripts please .ZIP them up and post them as attachments.
