kviar Report post Posted 06/13/2006 12:23 PM Hi everyone I have a HSP56 unimodem (yes, I know it's a lousy modem, that I should get a Dialogic Board, etc, but I'm not going to buy anything unless I can properly test this system). The thing is that it does not respond to any dialtone. I downloaded the latest drivers from conexant.com, but they don't work: after I install them, I get a "linedevice error" from voiceguide (other competing systems do not work either), even though it shows as properly installed in my Windows 2003 system. The only way to make voiceguide work is installing a previous version (8.5), but then I get that dialtone error. I also tried an even older version (7) to the same problem. Any ideas? Thanks! fluffybunny Report post Posted 06/13/2006 12:38 PM It seems to me that if other competing systems dont work either, then you have a fundamental problem with the modem, and its not a problem with Voiceguide. Why don't you get a different modem (one from the list of modems that do work on here?), and try it with that. After all how much does a modem cost? It'll probably save you in time in the long run.
