Can't Install Or Uninstall Voiceguide

I cannot uninstall or install VoiceGuide. I ge the same error message when trying to install or uninstall.

 

"The InstallShield Engine ( iKernel.exe ) could not be launched. No such interface supported"

 

Now what?

Are you running the installtion as Administrator and have turned off any virus programs?

 

If InstallShield cannot even start then you should have a good look at how Windows is set up on this machine.

Are there any kind of log files that Installshield generates that might help me with this problem? I checked the Installshield website, but the troubleshooting tips there were of no help.

Not aware of any. You should ask InstallShield about that.

 

InstallShield is usually very reliable. If it does not start then the chances are there is something not quite right with the system in the first place.
