Are any of you VG'ers out there aware of software (ie. shareware, etc) like this, or who have a set up like this:

for webcams to monitor the home and which have motion detection; has ability for remote viewing from another computer, and will be able to get VoiceGuide to call a number(s) if motion is detected?

 

I see this as a great application for the software, among it's other features.

 

What I'm thinking of is that the webcam software will execute a program (perhaps a simple .bat dos command) that will insert a number in the VoiceGuide call cue, thereby getting VoiceGuide to call out and notify.

 

Ideas? Done already? How?

I think many webcams software aout ther will let you view captured vision remotely. Yopu just need to find one that would run a user specified command line upon detecting motion...
